After we started work on the left fender of the 1972 SS Nova we discovered some past body repair work that had been done as a quick and dirty rust repair.
We ended up cutting out the lower left rear corner of the fender and building a custom repair patch for the fender. Things like this will happen during a
restoration on any car.
As I said in the last post stay tuned for the latest advances on the 1972 SS Nova Restoration. Here we will add some new pictures on the progress on this car.
First of all this car is in very good condition as far as the body & sheet metal, this makes for a great outcome on the car in a reasonable amount of time.
We have now gotten started on the 1972 SS Nova, we are well in to the body work on the firewall and door on the car.
This car should move a long pretty fast as it’s in great shape, just a few minor flaws to fix. The 1972 SS Nova should be a great looking car when it’s all done.
