How long will it take, this depends on what is involved in your muscle car restoration. If it's rusted out we might have to replace, quarter panels, trunk floors, rocker panels, floor boards and etc, if you want show quality this all has to be done.
-
What will it cost, as a restoration shop we can't do an estimate because we don't know everything that has to be done un till we get into your car, we can give you a starting point and work from there.
-
What quality standards do you use to govern your work We keep up on the latest requirements for the car shows, and employ the most recent industry standards. We use all the latest tools and equipment to complete your job.
-
How do you locate hard to find parts. We don't use any special methods to do this, it usually come down to a lot of searching for your particular part. We also use a lot of different companies that specialize in this business.
-
How can I expect my car to look and run when it's returned to me. We strive for better than factory quality, and usually archive these standards, this is possible due to today's machine shops, and good reproduction parts that are available in today's market. Such as rust preventative paints and better undercoating and powder coating.
-
How do I decide what kind of restoration I want or need. You should answer this by thinking about what you would like to do with your car, if your going to show it then you should spear no ex pence. If it's going to be a driver then you just need to look at the basics of how you want it to look, and think about how much the car means to you. You car should bring you joy to drive it, and nothing short of that.
-
How long can I expect it to last after it's all done. If you treat the car right and wash it regularly it should be with you the rest of your life and you children life's. The quality of paint products has gotten so much better over the past a few years that it should be with you for a very long time.
-
What's involved in restoring my car. This depends on how well it was taken care of in the past, if it was washed regularly and maintained well it may not be a big job, maybe just some paint & body work and engine and suspension work may get you by.
-
Do you have a warranty. You should expect any good shop to back it's work with a full warranty. Warranty does not mean that we will replace parts that were purchased from somebody, if will however fix or replace any part that was put on at our shop.
-
How long is my warranty good for. We warrant any work done at our shop for the lifetime of the car, now after you sell the car if you ever do this does end the warranty, life time is the time of life that the car has in your position, but we may help out the person that buys it under certain circumstances.
